The Detective Dinner Theater...

The Detective Dinner Theater is an interactive murder mystery dinner theater that involves the audience in the action. You find the clues and solve the murder. As an audience member you will receive play money and a set of written clues. You can use the money to 'bribe' the actors for more clues, or to answer your questions. You can even pool your money together to buy bigger clues!
Each table is in the 'front row' as the entire cast walks freely through the room during the play. The cast will also come to each table between scenes, answer questions and give you more clues.
Each scene is followed by a dinner course and by the fourth course, you're invited to guess 'whodunit'. We even give out prizes!
I SENSE A MURDER! is The Detective Dinner Theater's newest production.
This is it! It's finally here! Barry Barrington's First Annual Psychic Convention! And all of your favorite fortune tellers, mind readers, spirit talkers and future seers will be there! Madame Oola will make an appearance and Madame Geminita, as well as Ronica Rickaby - the premier phone psychic from the '80's. And let's not forget "Catarac the Magnificent" with his trusted assistant, Ted McTahon. Each are prepared to read your future and show how really talented they are.
Unfortunately, all does not go well. When one of the assistant's ends up murdered, the psychic energy seems to become too scrambled for our "talented" fortune tellers and psychics be of much help in figuring out who the murderer is. So it looks like we're going to need your help!
Mark your calendar for this great event, and who knows? You may even discover that you're somewhat of a psychic yourself!

And Poison, the headliner and proprietor will be out soon to do her first number to dazzle her fans. Yes, it's just another great evening here at The Poison Lounge!
Unfortunately tonight, the new landlord Carmine - a no-good, sleazy, good-for-nothing, rotten, pig of a man - decides to stop by and get himself murdered. He won' t be missed, but the crime will have to be solved. And the list of suspects is growing. Poison's sister, Desiree shows up unexpectedly with Poison's ex-boyfriend, Frankie. Everyone seems to have a motive to want Carmine dead, and it will be up to you to solve this crime.
MURDER ON THE RED CARPET!
Welcome back to 1950's Hollywood! A time when movie stars were glamorous and Gossip Columnists weren't so bad. Tonight is the movie premier of the beautiful (and not-so talented) Valentine Day. Millie Spooner and Willa Foxwell - the two rival Gossip Columnists - will both be there to cover the dazzling affair and try to out-scoop each other, so don't be surprised if they interview you. Murphy, the photographer, will of course be taking everyone's picture, and the newspaper might even send someone else to help out. Valentine Day herself will be there, as well as Detective Scott, who fancies himself a movie star now that he was a consultant on the movie.
It is a very exciting night and everyone is welcome for this prestigious event. Nothing short of murder could ruin this night - which is exactly what happens! Make sure to join us for this hilarious murder mystery and help us figure out "whodunit"!
All ABOARD FOR MURDER!
The crew of The Starstruck Princess Dinner Cruise is anxiously awaiting your arrival for their evening cruise. Julia McJoy, the Cruise Director, will energetically keep everyone in a good mood, and don't be surprised if she calls upon her cheerleading days to pump you up! Captain Rubing is regaling everyone with his tall tales and keeping busy giving tours of the ship to Beatrice Mulrooney, a repeat passenger several times over. Dr. Pricker is on board giving his special medical advice, and Qaro, the "Gichy-Gichy Girl" is excited to be entertaining for all the folks tonight, along with her partner Valentino.
However, when Valentino, The Latin Lover, doesn't show up for his curtain call, we find out that something terrible has happened . . . He's been murdered!
You don't want to miss what happens during the dinner cruise. Accusations will be made, motives will be found, and a good time will be had by all! Oh - and the crew will definitely need your help in figuring this one out!
BON VOYAGE MRS. SHIVITZ... FOREVER!
Mrs. Hannah Shivitz, formerly of the 'Shivitz Sisters' - the infamous 1960's variety act from Las Vegas - is going on a trip and throwing herself a party! Family and friends are all gathering to wish her Bon Voyage! And, to hear the big announcement she has concerning her will.
Unfortunately, as everyone arrives, they find that Mrs. Shivitz has A fitting demise for someone who has done her share of stabbing other's in the back. Now it is up to the guests to figure out who murdered her. The list of suspects is not short. It really could be anyone! There's Sheldon, Hannah's overly mothered grandson. There's his girlfriend, Taffee, who may not be as ditzy as she seems. There's Deirdre, Hannah's granddaughter, who is recently broke. There is also Don Diego Aquila Enrique del Montana, a Flamenco dance insructor with a shady past. And let's not forget Hannah's more talented and popular sister - Mannah Shivitz.
You don't want to miss this hilariously funny murder mystery. This will be a great party - and - if we're lucky, Mannah Shivitz just might perform some of her act!
MURDER ON THE SET! You won't want to miss a minute of the action as we film the entirely original movie "The Gigantic". That is, of course, if we can get any filming done. It seems that almost everyone on the set has either quit or been fired. Dash Diamond, the star of the movie has a bad reputation and a bad temper. If you get on his bad side, he may just fire you, too. The other stars of the movie - Kim Kelly and Sadie Hawkins - are easier to get along with, however, they don't seem to have any acting ability whatsoever. Although, Max A. Million - Agent to the Stars - may have a different opinion about that. So, as you can see, the director, Stacey Carmichael, may need your help with a few things if this movie is going to be made. Oh, yeah! We may all need your help in solving a murder, too!
"Murder on the Set" is a delightful comedy that delivers non-stop action and fun.
DISCO IS DEAD! Come on out and join us for the grand re-opening of The Disco Le Chic! Freda Faye, the one-hit-wonder from the seventies, is the owner and hostess for the evening. To commemorate this auspicious occasion, nothing but the finest entertainment will do. So, of course, she will be having the finals for the disco dance contest, and you are the judge!
However, not all goes well for this exciting evening. It seems as though jealousies rage and suspicions flair when someone ends up murdered. Be front and center amid the action as we all try and figure out who did what and, of course, who will win the dance contest!
This hilarious farce will keep you laughing all night and leave you wanting more!
A WEDDING TO KILL FOR! The pleasure of your company is requested at the wedding reception of Mrs. Sharon Marie Wilson-Rochester and Mr. Ryan Reinhold Rochester. But be careful... one of the guestes might resort to extreme measures to ruin this happy event. Could it be the jealous sister and maid of honor? The recently destitute best man? The disapproving mother of the groom? The over-indulging parents of the bride? Or, possibly even the greedy bride or groom themselves? Whoever it turns out to be, make sure to mark your calendar for the wedding reception of the century! Throw in a few fun songs, a fabulous four course meal - along with a murder - and you've got a comedy that will keep you on your toes all night!
INVITATION TO MURDER! Mr. Ignatius Theodore Radburn, the game-show loving, eccentric multi-millionaire, is throwing a party and you're invited! Meet his ill-tempered wife, his somewhat shady guests of honor, and rub shoulders with the self-made millionaire himself! Come on out and join the fun at his extravagant mansion because he has promised to make it worth your while to attend. You'll have to be there to believe the proposition he's going to make! It's definitely a offer that will be too tempting for someone to refuse. Maybe that someone is you?
WITHOUT A HITCH! This mystery is a comedy that's set in a lavish but intimate hotel in Monaco, where intrigue and suspicions abound. The script is a spoof of and a tribute to the Master of Suspense himself... Alfred Hitchcock! See how many Hitchcock references you can spot -- from THE BYRDS to NORTH BY NORTHWEST to PSYCHO to THE THIRTY-NINE STEPS and more! Inspector Truffaut, head of the local police, needs your help in solving this suspensful tale of espionage. Bring your thinking cap for this one! Keep your eyes open for clues, and watch out for red herrings! Once you see this, you'll know why we're so "psych"ed about it!
WHERE THERE'S A WILL, THERE'S A WAY TO MURDER! This comedic mystery has everything from a birthday party to a seance to a reading of the will. Join Cordelia Witherspoon at the Witherspoon mansion for her 80th birthday! You will never attend a birthday party like this again! Be there when she tries to contact her dearly departed husband and join in when we find her long lost daughter! Cordelia won't be here forever, and forever may come sooner than anyone thinks! Add a few songs, and some nutty charaters and you have an instant party mix!
